Christmas came and went...so quickly too!
I don't care about the presents I got, it was just nice doing something as a family and sharing with each other. I cooked a simple meal and we ate by candlelight which was nice.
This morning we spoke with our daughter by phone, who was very appreciative of her gifts, and seemed relieved that we like what she got us, which was a ton of stuff she got on her European vacation this year.

I got to stay home and work on a database project because my boss says that when I do work at home, I seem to get more done. DUH.
Let me see...if I have to go to the office, i have to get up and have breakfast, shower, get dressed, make myself presentable, make sure the dog goes out before I lock her in the house all day, remembered to lock the doors, and then (depending on whatever) commute the 11 miles to the office in 30 minutes( a good day) or up to an hour. But if I work from home, I can skip most everything after breakfast, and start working in my jammies
