  2. I really don't understand why this was not going on during the campaign, during the song and dance of a black man running against a white woman. And then later when the Demos decided on the black man. Was everyone asleep? We are into August, the black man isn't going anywhere any time soon. Three years and some ~five months to go. As long as he is in office, this is the way things are going to be, unless some way to remove him from office is accomplish. George W Bush stayed in eight years doing his stupid crap on the people, re-elected even after he took away rights, trampled the Constitution, and did nothing to try and return the jobs to the USA.

  3. IMHO, GWB was re-elected because people went with something they knew rather than the alternative...which to me underscores the election process needs to be based on serious examination of the candidates, based not on platitutes and gimmicky slogans. We need to know what the candidates personal history tells you. Realizing that BO had zip experience running anything, and the skimpy history in his background (birth certificate issue, fact that he had ALL his personal records sealed, etc.) and the rhetoric he was using in the past, I could never vote for him. Had the Repoopicans run a decent candidate, they might have prevailed. I am done with both parties and going independent...which is how i have voted the last 14 years anyway.
I seriously believe we could see Mr. Obama booted out after the mid term elections, although I doubt it. Nobody in Washington has the guts to vote to impeach him today...so i hope for 2010, which in reality means he will stay, since a new Congress would not be in place until 2011.
