Teleprompter Falls, Obama at loss for words...more to follow

ABC News' Sunlen Miller and Jake Tapper report:

If a teleprompter falls in the White House, does it make a sound?

Yes, especially when it’s the President’s teleprompter – or TOTUS as it is often referred to.

Midway through his speech on urban and metropolitan policy in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building this afternoon, one of his two small glass prompters came crashing down, hitting the wood floor and crashing in many pieces. It made quite a ruckus.

“Oh, goodness,” a startled President Obama said. “Sorry about that, guys.”

The press use to rag on Bush on how he couldn't talk, but once he was done speaking you know what his position was. Obama can give a great speech and when he is done people still scratch their head and wonder what he just said. The one thing I can say good about the Obama presidency is that the IQ of America is going up because the idiots that voted for him are finally smartening up. Every minute this idiot spends in office makes Jimmy Carter look smarter. Nobody thought that was possible until now. He truly works miracles.

So tell me, how is that "Hope and Change" working out for you?

  1. I Googled this and they said your statement was a slam-dunk .

Btw, ummmm, it's mid-July, and I don't see any of those 600,000 'summer' jobs that Obama promised . - So, did he really mean 'summer' jobs. .. .or maybe he meant jobs 'in' the summer. . .or maybe jobs 'on one particular day' in the summer .

    What a liar .

What would I do for a Klondike Bar ? ~ I'd invite Obama into the ring and kick the livin shit out of him..that's what I'd do for a tasty American ice cream treat !

  2. We recently had the Democrats talking about a new stimulus. Maybe that will be a good idea; maybe this time they will put the stimulus where it will help things and not keep companies like AIG going. But hey, things have got to be improving if GM is now out of bankruptcy. I was like, WTF!? when I heard they were out of bankruptcy, how in hell does a company come out of bankruptcy in a matter of months in a depression? I can't but help think the GM bankruptcy was some sort of scam.

We are indeed a nation of idiots. In four years time if the Kenyan is still in office, the people will look and see that they are still in the same old shit and then vote a republican in office as if they will make a difference. My hope is they will remember the Bush years, and then see what they got with our Glorious Leader and decide it is time to quit putting the same people back in office. Then again, maybe the current political machine won't let them.

  3. The majority (65%) of the first stimulus hasn't even been distributed and won't be cause Obama made the parameters for gaining it nearly impossible unless you want to sell your company's soul to the gov't .

    GM's recovery was orchestrated .

We are indeed a nation of idiots but I hope there's just enough rational people left to band together and save this country by removing O-bama.

  5. LOL, ..I think you misunderstood .

It was a joke. . .just acting like I actually googled your statement and implied that google had already researched it and found it to be 100% accurate . Obviously your statement wasn't on google, that's implied, and I thought you'd see that. . . . . oh well, maybe it was how I worded it .

  6. I still do not understand the people who think that Obama is a great speaker. I find him boring, and the fact that his content is weak doesn't help.
I actually finally listened to Carter's "malaise" speech from 1979 a few days ago. Ugh. It is pretty depressing, and the "solutions" that he lists at the end are all just disasters. One that was particularly interesting was on energy policy.... increasing use of coal for electricity, and a target of 20% power generation from solar by the year 2000. I was hearing today that one sixth of one percent of our electric power is nowgenerated from solar or wind sources.
Oops I think I am off topic.
