ReplyDeleteLOL! Republicans...Democrats...two sides of the same old tired collectivist coin. When someone stands up and proudly proclaims him/herself to ba a radical capitalist...they'll get MY attention.

ReplyDeleteHOORAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! CHANGE IS TAKING PLACE!!!!!!!! NOW!!!
ReplyDeleteIt really does not mean that much. It would have meant a lot more if the Independent had won and that the message was America is sick and tired of the one party Republican/Democrat and that their days were numbered. The real hope for Americans is to break the power hold that Republicans and Democrats have, and that it is time to return the country to the citizens and not the corporations that now own the government. There really is not much difference between the present day Republicans and Democrats, both are owned by corporate America and they do not care about the citizens, only the ones throwing money at them. We saw that clearly with the healthcare reform bill.
ReplyDeleteActually I agree.. but right now any change pointed away from Obama is positive..
ReplyDeleteI look at any Blue state going red as a good thing. It's a start.
ReplyDeleteThis article indicates that he will be seated as soon as possible: the people have spoken! http://home.peoplepc.com/psp/newsstory.asp?cat=TopStories&id=20100119/806afcd1-3347-4208-9a2f-82043b3ecb7a

ReplyDelete"Brown will finish Kennedy's unexpired term, facing re-election in 2012. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid pledged to seat Brown immediately, a hasty retreat from pre-election Democratic threats to delay his inauguration until after the health bill passed."
How soon, the filibuster?
ReplyDeleteLet me see..radical capitalist..."All factors of production are owned privately, and people make all economic choices for themselves without any regulation." No taxes, no regulation, no rules other than informal agreements between parties.
ReplyDeleteMaybe if all parties were civil it would work, though that's a big caveat...
History clearly shows what happens if you have a capitalist economy with no regulations. Just go back and look at the history!
ReplyDeleteWe need regulations....commonsense regulations. Not the stranglehold this Administration sought to put on them.
