I'm back!
I was pretty upset that in 2 months the yay-hoos that run Yahoo plan on jerking 360 into some other (less useful) format, and so i started experimenting with other pages- Multiply- nah, that ain't for me; Myspace is OK, but there is a lot of ads on the pages, they even tell you not to embed code over the commercials! MSN/Windows Spaces---not much better. The other pages I looked at were obviously geared for the under 20 crowd...I HOPE Yahoo relents, and improves 360, not abolish it...
I have been dropping in and reading others pages here on 360, and have to say my friend Robyn in Spokane has a flair for speaking honestly that is pretty dam refreshing...I hope she doesn't mind my saying that here, but she deserves credit for posting some memorable blogs, even if they only number a few..
Another friend in Tennessee has incurred my wrath in messages about my view of some peoples personal preferences in terms of behavior, specifically BDSM. I am a child of the 60's but my family ingrained in my brain a set of values and beliefs than is pretty conservative, especially by todays attitudes, where sex isn't sex if its not "the old in out". Sorry, you lost me there...he put his thing in her mouth- that's sex. Men that want to be submissive-sorry. Somewhere along the line i was raised to believe that people got to know each other, felt an emotional bond, had some feelings, made each other feel good...hello, the Inuit Eskimo Word for Sex is "Laughing Together In Bed"...But now i find out how screwed up i am because i should have been demanding to be spanked, or want to inflict than on my husband...sorry, I dont buy it. But you know what? So what? If that's what you want to do in private, go for for it. I dont approve, but who cares what I think?
Last thought for the last day of November...December is the month we celebrate a number of events..Kwanzaa, Christmas and in 2007, Hanukkah begins at sundown on December 4th.
Although i was raised Methodist by my dad and catholic mom, one set of great grandparents were Jewish, coming to the USA in the 1890's. Don't get me going on ancestry...
