Dan Rather (on MSNBC no less) Says Obama Ineffective

Chris Matthews had to sit there and bit his tongue on his show. Dan Rather was on showing how compromised Obama is and how ineffective he is as a leader telling Matthews Republicans are going to attack these issues during the election. Dan Rather said Obama couldn’t sell watermelons [on the side of the road with state troopers flagging in cars.] It’s strange when Dan Rather actually hits the nail on the head. Strange and funny.

  1. Unfortunate choice of produce name to use in his example. So I reckon that will be used as a red herring for a criticism for Dan in turn---no matter that he is right as rain! Obama is representing no change at all, and he doesn't differ much from Republicans in Congress even on health care: they're all pushing for an unconstitutional coersion of the people to buy a "service/product" from their political contributors." Forced purchase is fascism, period!

  2. I won't be a bit surprised if Dan Rather is now labelled as a racist for using the word "watermelon" when talking about the Glorious Leader. I am sure Dan wasn't thinking, or the would have said corn, or peaches, or apples. It does appear the Glorious Leader has a burr up his arse over this health insurance thing. He keeps talking about healthcare reform, but he has not mention anything about the drugs companies or corporate healthcare; most hospitals are part of a corporation, and the bottom line is maximising profits with the least amount of costs, and providing healthcare to someone is a cost, a lost, as it means they are spending money. I wish he would just crap the burr out and start working on what the US really needs; things like a reduction in energy cost, a reduction in inflation, returning jobs to the US, bringing the troops back home; thus ending one of the largest drains on US funds. The list is long that he needs to do, forcing US citizens to buy health insurance is not one of them. Mandates and caps on health insurers will do nothing but drive them out of business since healthcare costs are climbing at a much higher rate than the rate of inflations, and do little to help US citizens get the healthcare they need.

  3. The main point of the healthcare problem is that it is greed not need that is pushing up costs. Hopitals should not be run by corporations.

  4. I agree. The solution to big oil, and big healthcare, is government run, citizen owned (remember when it use to the citizens that owned the US) non-profit operations. Leave big oil and big healthcare alone; the citizen owned non-profits will forced them to lower their prices.

  5. Listen for yourself. The problem is that Dan was not thinking about the Glorious Leader being black.

  6. I agree with you on this 100%. I think I heard on the radio cost are at 3.2 % increase now, while inflation is about 2.63%...

  7. lol..........There's probably an explanation of this remark that would make it seem non-racist. I just can't think of what the heck it might be.........but remember old dan made crazy stuff up about Bush .....dan forgets.he's irrelevant, even if he did hit this one right
