Minimal cost until after the 2012 election, then $50 Billion added cost per year (average) on top of what was perviously spent, for next 6 years to $923 billion. Adjusted for historical inflation, project realistic outcome looks like it exceeds a trillion dollars per year in 2020 and beyond.

ReplyDeleteTrue, just look at Massachusetts which passed a mandated healthcare insurance upon its citizens. There are still those without insurance coverage, and the premiums are out of sight, and people still can not afford to get healthcare.

ReplyDeleteFor a long time as I watched the US moving towards the plan of the machine, I have wanted to leave. The only satisfaction is the machine has miscalculated. The US economy is teetering and will fall if things continue as they are. Plus, the climate is changing, and if it continues along the current path, will produce a planet that current life forms will not be able to survive. As Ron stated, it is greed and that greed will end up consuming them in the end, as well as everything else.
