Arizona - Presidential candidates to prove they are constitutionally eligible...

PHOENIX -- The Arizona House on Monday voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for reelection.

The House voted 31-22 to add the provision to a separate bill. The measure still faces a formal vote.

It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.

Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."

Mesa Republican Rep. Cecil Ash said he has no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship but supports the measure because it could help end doubt.

  1. I have been meaning to write a blog about the Lt. Col. that is being court martial for refusing to obey orders to serve in Afghanistan. I was surprised at this as I thought they would do as they did before and just rescind the orders. How will they circumvent discovery?.

  2. I'd like to see all the states do the same thing I don't know about you people, but I don't believe a single thing this asshole claims and I certainly don't believe the Birthers are too far off from reality.
Honestly, that cocksucker has way too of a shady past.

  3. This will stop Obama from running and he's already padded the concept with his statement that he would rather be a ".........one term president, then a..........."(I don't listen to him, so trust me, OK?)
