Having a female brain

Over the years, my husband has said something at times leading to a "discussion"

Usually it started about something "Women just wouldn’t understand" like car maintenance, vacations, how to spend our money, when the yard needs mowing, when can someone give the dog a much needed bath, can someone go to school and talk with our daughter’s counselor….who knows, there are endless variations over the years.

Invariably though, the subject of how I think about whatever subject came down to something akin to “I wish I could understand how you think..."

How do women think? Are we that different than men, mentally?

I know we are more emotional, seem to be more in touch with stuff…so I looked online to see what I could find out…

I searched for “Differences in male and female brains” I found lots of scientific stuff, and this video, in which this man seems to explain it all..(although I don't exactly agree with the video)

  1. Anytime we divide into groups, we get stereotypes, most of which never fit anyone.

The idea of being one with the universe comes from Buddhist thought, I believe, and there are plenty of males there.

I would say silk thread rather than wire. :-)

It is possible that women have kept more of our spiritual nature, that is loving, forgiving, peacemaking, creativity, but that is not true in every case. However the Creator does have a very favorable view of women in general (expressed in The Revelation of Arès), counting on us to build a better world, to influence mankind in the direction of our divine nature.

It's much more interesting to have not all people thinking alike, there is a lot more potential for finding solutions. We just need to listen and try to understand, also realizing that often there is no one right way.

  2. Stopped watching at 2:17. Why was they laughing? I was not laughing. He was not funny. I certainly won't be buying the DVD, which never left the bottom 1/3 of the screen; at least up until I stopped at 2:17, not sure after that of course.

  3. I suggest sticking with the scientific stuff and forget about that buffoon in the video.

  4. Much of "scientific" stuff isn't all that certain.
